Hello and Welcome from all of us at Pentewan Sands Sailing Club.

P.S.S.C was established in 1970 after relocating from Carylon Bay to Pentewan, which offered a more favourable club base and water access.

The sailing clubs sailboat compound and new clubhouse is at the head of Pentewans long sandy beach.  We also have a power boat compound set further back towards Pentewan village, whilst to our front are the great sailing waters of Mevagissey bay and St. Austell bay.

We aim to get waterborne every Sunday, if conditions allow, from April to November and every Thursday evening from May to September along with a few Saturdays and bank holidays.

For club sailing days we always have a safety boat on the water however club members can take their own boats out whenever they want.

Pentewan Sands Sailing Club is open to all classes of sailing dinghy, mono and multihull.

We are also home to kayaks and paddle boarders, indeed we are happy to support any form of waterbased craft.

We look to support club racing, whilst being keen to encourage the less competitive amongst us to simply enjoy the pleasure of being on the water.

Pentewan Sands Sailing Club has hosted National and European Championships.

With great accommodation next door on the beach at Pentewan Sands Holiday Park as well as local B&Bs in Pentewan village there is a variety of accommodation to suit all visitors budgets!

We are also able to offer boat storage be that power, sail or kayak to club member’s.

So, why not consider becoming a member.  Membership forms available from the Honorary Secretary or on the 'Membership' link above.
